How does it work?
Insect Forcefield’s fabric technology process binds a specialised formula of permethrin to the fabric fibres, resulting in a safe, odorless and invisible insect repellent that lasts for up to 100 washes. Combined with our HexStrength™ fabric technology – which is 190 times stronger than industry alternatives – Bruxy’s Insect Forcefield fabric technology not only protects your workers for longer.
Permethrin has been a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-registered product since 1977, with an impressive safety record. It is also an active ingredient in kid’s lice shampoo, dog flea dips, among other products. Our Insect Forcefield technology complies with NATO Standard TL8305 in terms of the Permethrin content and insect knock down rates.
It is always recommended that exposed skin not covered by an Insect Forcefield garment be protected by a quality, approved insect repellent.
